Mission Statement
Our mission is to convene and unite African American led denominational leaders and aligned faith institutions to serve as a trusted moral, spiritual, and civic anchor for our communities. Rooted in the historic witness and resilience of the Black Church, we seek to strengthen faith, uphold truth, cultivate accountability, and advance justice, equity, and generational well-being for all people.
Grounded in the historic authority of the Church and responsive to the realities of our time, we exist to counter disinformation, confront systemic inequities, and restore confidence in institutions by cultivating informed leadership, engaged congregations, and empowered communities. We steward collective influence to protect democratic participation, expand educational and economic opportunity, address health and mental disparities, and affirm the dignity and value of Black life.
Through principled governance, strategic collaboration, and faithful witness, we equip leaders and congregations to move from awareness to action, mobilizing voter registration and turnout, shaping public policy engagement, and building sustainable institutional capacity. Our work is driven by a sacred responsibility to act not only for the present moment, but for our children and our children’s children, ensuring that truth is preserved, justice is pursued, and hope is made visible in every generation.

2. Biblical & Theological Mission Statement
(For Presiding Bishops, clergy, denominational leaders, and sacred convenings)
Our mission is to steward the God-given authority of the Church as a lampstand of truth, justice, and hope in a time of moral confusion and spiritual disorientation. Rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit, we unite Black denominational leadership to guard truth, confront injustice, and restore trust where institutions have been weakened and communities have been targeted.
We exist to equip shepherds and congregations to discern wisely, act courageously, and love faithfully addressing disinformation, systemic inequity, health and mental burdens, and the erosion of democratic responsibility. Through unity, prayer, teaching, and action, we mobilize the Church not as a partisan force, but as a prophetic witness that calls people to righteousness, accountability, and civic faithfulness.
Mindful of our obligation to generations yet unborn, we labor so that our children and our children’s children may inherit a faith that is credible, a community that is protected, and a future shaped by justice, truth, and the enduring promises of God.
